Ron Lhotte

I had the pleasure of playing Marvin O. Marvin in a production of “Hard Luck Sings the Blues” with the Green Bay Community Theatre.  From the first reading of the script, I knew this was a special play.  The quirky nature of the story, the idiosyncrasies of the characters, and the pace of the story caught my interest.
Through rehearsals and performances, I never tired of Marvin’s ability to command the stage while he was on.  I have had several friends remark that they laughed throughout the story.
The playwright was generous in not having so many stage directions in the script that it allows for the actors to bend the characters to their personalities.
I hope to have the privilege to perform in another play from Mr. Huling.
