Zulu as Kono

On a Honolulu soundstage in 1968, a visionary TV director sets out to film the opening sequence of “Hawaii Five-O” — and treats every second of it like a masterpiece in the making. A head turn becomes a seismic event. A footstep carries the weight of destiny. And one actor’s simple run toward camera turns into an all-consuming quest for something… greater.

As each take is pushed further and further toward perfection, the actors struggle to keep up with a vision that grows more intense, more specific, and more gloriously overblown by the minute.

Because this isn’t just television. This is art.

Five men. One woman. One set.
